Tackle David Bakhtiari (69) blocks tackle Yosh Nijman (73) during Green Bay Packers training camp at Ray Nitschke Field Tuesday, July 30, 2019, in Ashwaubenon, Wis.Gpg Packers Training Camp 073019 Jc0297 /

Bold prediction for Packers’ positional groups: Offensive line

The offensive line is reeling with David Bakhtiari being placed on the PUP list, placing the start of his season in jeopardy. The Packers also released Billy Turner this offseason and Elgton Jenkins won’t be ready to go for the start of the season. That takes care of their top three offensive tackle options from a year ago.

Yosh Nijman, who was serviceable last season, will slide into Bakhtiari’s position at left tackle. However, that leaves a huge question mark on the right side. Rookies Rasheed Walker, Sean Rhyan and Zach Tom will battle it out for the right to start. And Rhyan, a third-round pick, will win that competition.

Bold Prediction: Sean Rhyan starts at right tackle
