Bold prediction for Packers’ positional groups: Running backs

AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones are all set to form one of the best running back duos in the NFL. They both have dynamic games that allow them to be much more than runners–something this offense will desperately need to replace the production lost at wide receiver. Dillon looks like he’s primed to become one of the NFL’s breakout stars.

The battle for running back 3 is the place to watch. Kylin Hill would be the clear favorite if he were healthy, but he’ll probably start the season on the PUP list as he recovers from last year’s injury. Patrick Taylor would be next up, but he’s also battling an injury. That leaves an opening between BJ Baylor and Tyler Goodson. Goodson was a highly productive collegiate runner and will prove his game can carry over to the next level.

Bold Prediction: Tyler Goodson earns RB3 to begin season
