1 bold prediction for each Packers rookie entering training camp
Bold prediction for Packers’ rookie entering training camp: Devonte Wyatt
After years of looking for anybody not named Kenny Clark to step up on the defensive line, the Packers have several guys who should be able to make positive contributions. Devonte Wyatt falls in that category and he’ll give offensive linemen fits when they pay too much attention to others. Mark him down as a Day 1 starter.
Prediction: Starting defensive lineman
Bold prediction for Packers’ rookie entering training camp: Quay Walker
The Packers are suddenly very interested in their inside linebacker position. After year’s of basically ignoring it, they doubled up by signing De’Vondre Campbell to a long-term extension and using their first selection on Quay Walker. Walker will become the starter in due time, but he’ll have to wait his turn. Campbell is coming off an All-Pro season and will be the unquestioned starter. At least to begin with.
Prediction: Backup to De’Vondre Campbell
