1 bold prediction for each Packers rookie entering training camp
Bold prediction for Packers’ rookie entering training camp: Sean Rhyan
The Packers’ draft history is at a crossroads with the selection of Sean Rhyan. On the one hand, they’ve been amazing at finding offensive linemen in the middle-ish rounds. On the other, the third round hasn’t been kind to them–the last productive player they selected was Kyler Fackrell back in 2016 (and that’s being generous). Green Bay has a lot of skill up front and Rhyan won’t be able to crack the rotation.
Prediction: Barely makes team
Bold prediction for Packers’ rookie entering training camp: Christian Watson
Christian Watson is as high-risk, high-reward as they come. His speed and athleticism are a marvel and extremely fun to watch. But his inability to, you know, catch the football is an enigma. Considering the lack of better options on the Packers’ depth chart, Watson will beat out Watkins as one of the team’s starting outside receivers.
Prediction: Starting outside wide receiver
