Despite winning 39 regular season games over the last three games, the narrative around the Green Bay Packers seems to be that they were more lucky than good. That’s led to the NFL sleeping on a lot of their players.

Brian Gutekunst has done a nice job adding talent to the roster and building a well-rounded squad around Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur. That talent will be put to the test this season, as the Packers look to finally get over the hump. Let’s preview three of the best kept secrets on the Packers’ roster this season.

These three players are flying under the radar with the Green Bay Packers and are some of the best kept secrets in the NFL.

Best kept secrets on Packers’ roster: Adrian Amos

When discussing the best safeties in the NFL, Adrian Amos is not one who will be mentioned very often, if at all. He’s not one of the flashiest, but he does command a ton of respect from his teammates–and for good reasons.

Amos is solid in all phases of the game and can play near the line of scrimmage or deep in coverage. He’s a jack-of-all-trades who can impact the game on the ground and through the air. That allows him to take over as a coach on the field and help get his teammates in the right positions. He’s been a huge hit in the Packers’ locker room since they signed him a few years ago and he deserves more praise as one of the better safeties in the game.
