Best remaining free agents for Packers: Dont’a Hightower

It’s been an interesting couple of years for outside linebacker Dont’a Hightower, as he’s been in and out of the NFL. He decided to take 2020 off due to COVID before returning for the 2021 season. Now, he’s reportedly on the fence about returning for this year.

If Green Bay could convince him to return, it would be a nice addition to their roster. The Packers would want to strictly keep him in pass-rushing situations, but there’s some upside there. He’s also a great locker room leader, something the Packers value in their veteran free agent signings.
