Green Bay Packers Record Prediction Weeks 15-18

Week 15 vs. Los Angeles Rams: Win (9-5)

The Rams may be the defending champions with many of their key players returning, but the Green Bay Packers are coming off their bye and have fared very well at home against LA–winning their last two meetings there by 14 points and eight points, respectively.

Week 16 at Miami: Win (10-5)

This will be a close one. With it being a Saturday game, it’s a bit of a shorter week for the Packers, who will be traveling. I also expect Mike McDaniel to dial up some trickery just as Kyle Shanahan does in San Francisco–oh, and the game is also in Florida. But this is still a Maimi team trying to figure things out, so I’ll give Rodgers and the Packers — the superior team — the benefit of the doubt.

Week 17 vs. Minnesota: Win (11-5)

It’s January. It’s Lambeau Field. And the Green Bay Packers offense should look quite a bit different than what it did in Week 1 when these teams first met. The Packers’ defense stifles the Vikings’ offense, and Green Bay wins the game.

Week 18 vs. Detroit: Win (12-5)

Once again, regardless of what the Lions’ record is, I expect them to bring some juice to this matchup. While they should be improved — and even won the earlier matchup — the Packers are the better team, and if their record falls in this 11-5 ballpark, they very much will have something to play for at this stage of the season when it comes to playoff seeding.
