Positions Packers should still target in free agency: Wide receiver

The time has probably passed for Green Bay to add a wide receiver, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that they still need another player of quality at the position.

Sammy Watkins was the big free agent addition this offseason and he joins Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, Christian Watson and a trove of players with a ton to prove at the position. It will be interesting to see how that all plays out as the summer progresses and training camp gets closer.

There are still a couple of big-name wide receivers left on the free agent market who could immediately help the Packers. Their best days are probably behind them at this point, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t provide more support than what the Packers’ current cast offers.
