The Green Bay Packers had to work magic just to get under the salary cap before this offseason began. However, their work is never finished as there is another long list of players who will be free agents next season.

Green Bay is just trying to keep their head above water when it comes to their financial standing and their future cap doesn’t look good by any means. However, these four players are crucial to their success and they must try to keep them by any means necessary.

The Green Bay Packers have a number of players who will be free agents following the 2022 NFL season, including these four guys.

Dean Lowry

The Packers have revamped their defensive line this offseason, making Dean Lowry more expendable. However, Lowry had a great second-half of his 2021 season and could establish himself as a must-have with another strong performance. Hopefully, he can prove himself as a full-time force next to Kenny Clark.

Adrian Amos

Amos has been a steady hand in the Packers’ secondary since they signed him as a free agent three years ago. He doesn’t make any spectacular plays, but he’s always in the right spots and respected by his peers. With Darnell Savage’s future in question, it will be important to retain Amos’ services.

Allen Lazard

Allen Lazard is in line for a long-term deal and rightfully wants one as soon as possible. He’s working on a one-year restricted free agent tender this season that provides him very little long-term protection. With so many holes at their wide receiver position, keeping Lazard is a must.

Elgton Jenkins

Elgton Jenkins has proven to be one of the best and most versatile offensive linemen in the entire NFL. No matter where you put him–left guard, left tackle or right tackle–he excels. That’s the flexibility Green Bay loves in their big men up front and will do anything necessary to keep Jenkins on a long-term deal.
