Packers with a lot to prove: Amari Rodgers

I couldn’t think of a worse way to begin your NFL career as a third-round pick than Amari Rodgers did in 2022. He was basically handed the starting return duties and a role in the offense before his poor play quickly demanded he is on the sidelines.

Rodgers quickly lost the confidence and trust of his peers and coaching staff, but, most importantly, he lost confidence in himself. That swagger he had at Clemson was gone and he was unable to regain that in his rookie year. It appears he’s gotten that back in the offseason, but he needs to start stacking successes in training camp and preseason. There’s a need for a player like Rodgers in this offense–he just has to grab the bull by the horns and take advantage of the opportunity.
