Packers with a lot to prove: Allen Lazard

The Packers need someone to step up at wide receiver following the offseason departures of Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Davante Adams. And Allen Lazard seems like the most natural player to do so.

Lazard has the longest history with Aaron Rodgers (outside of Randall Cobb) and has been in Green Bay throughout Matt Lafleur’s tenure, giving him plenty of knowledge and experience with the playbook. He’ll also be on the field a ton considering his abilities as a run-blocker. He just signed his restricted free agent tender and will have the opportunity to earn the top spot on the depth chart if he plays well in training camp.
