Packers with a lot to prove: De’Vondre Campbell

Thinking in the same vein as Douglas, De’Vondre Campbell needs to prove his 2021 season wasn’t a fluke. After years of being an average inside linebacker in the NFL, he exploded in Green Bay’s season, had a monster campaign, and was honored with an All-Pro selection.

All signs point toward Campbell being the real deal, but that concern always exists with any player. He signed a massive five-year, $50 million extension this offseason and needs to prove that was the right financial move by Green Bay. Campbell also had first-round pick Quay Walker breathing down his neck and as an insurance policy in case Campbell can’t repeat his 2021 performance.
