Packers’ potential no. 1 wide receivers: Sammy Watkins

Sammy Watkins is the only wide receiver on this list with a 1,000-yard receiving season in the NFL. Albeit, it came way back in 2015 during his second year in the league and he has only topped 600 yards once since then, it shows he at least has the potential to accomplish that feat.

Watkins spoke with the media earlier this week about his career and how this is a great chance to change what’s been a disappointing path so far. Availability has been said to be the best ability and he’s struggled to stay on the field since coming to the NFL. Green Bay and Watkins hope that can be different, as he’s got the potential (there’s that word again) to re-establish himself as a playmaker in the NFL.
