LaFleur was clearly unhappy that a number of key Packers didn’t attend voluntary organized team activities last week and even felt the need to speak about it publicly. That’s not a good sign from a coach who is as flexible as they come.
One of the players who was notably absent was new free agent addition Sammy Watkins. Green Bay signed Watkins as a free agent earlier this offseason and it’s imperative he learns the new offensive system if he’s to be any help in Year 1.

Yes, Watkins could’ve been one of the players LaFleur referred to that had flight issues outside of their control. If that’s the case, Watkins shouldn’t be on this list. However, if he was missing for other reasons, it could be a very quick tenure for Watkins in Green Bay.
