5 best remaining free agents for Packers after second week of OTAs

Best remaining free agents for Packers: Trey Flowers, Edge
Similar to safety, Green Bay has absolutely no depth at outside linebacker and it’s one of their biggest positions of weaknesses at this point in the offseason. Unlike safety, unfortunately, depth is critical to the success of this position, as the players need to rotate in and out due to the strenuous strains of sprinting after the quarterback on every single play.
The Trey Flowers experiment didn’t work out in Detroit, but the Packers wouldn’t expect him to shoulder such a heavy load as a rotation player. Flowers has a history of playing in 3-4 defenses and does best when the defense can scheme easy matchups for him. That’s something Joe Barry can help him with as guys like Rashan Gary, Preston Smith and Kenny Clark will get most of the attention.
