Best remaining free agents for Packers: Julio Jones, WR

Injuries have derailed Julio Jones over the last couple of seasons, as he has missed at least seven games in each of them. That’s obviously a big concern moving forward considering he’s on the wrong side of 30 and only getting older.

If he can stay healthy, Jones would provide Aaron Rodgers with a veteran wide receiver who understands the nuances of the game and how to be successful at the highest of levels. He’d also be able to mentor the plethora of younger receivers the Packers have, teach them how to be a professional on and off the field, and help develop their games. It would be a risky signing, but one that could pay off big time if he can stay healthy.
