Best remaining free agents for Packers: Rob Gronkowski, TE

Tight end is a complicated position for the Packers entering the 2022 season. They re-signed Robert Tonyan to join Marcedes Lewis, Tyler Davis, Josiah Deguara and Dominique Dafeny at the position, however, it’s unclear when Tonyan will be ready to return to the field.

Rob Gronkowski will very likely re-join his pal Tom Brady on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers if he does return for another season, but we can dream about him going north and adding a little extra punch to the Packers’ offense.

Brady isn’t a very good blocker anymore, but would provide Green Bay with a much-needed receiving threat from the position. He can stretch the field vertically and can work the middle of the field on crossers–a route Matt LaFleur loves to implement in his offense.
