Packers on their last leg: Marcedes Lewis

Marcedes has had an amazing second career with the Packers since arriving here back in 2018. Although he hasn’t been the same type of receiving threat as he was during his prime in Jacksonville–he’s never had more than 24 receptions, 214 receiving yards or three touchdowns–he’s been a great addition.

Lewis is one of the best blocking tight ends in the NFL and head coach Matt LaFleur loves to use him in just that role. He’s like a sixth offensive lineman out there and someone they depend on to open up holes for their running game. Lewis is also entering the final year of his contract which makes it more likely this could be his final season.
