Surprise cut candidates: Ty Summers

Ty Summers has mostly been a special teams contributor throughout his career in the NFL and is buried even deeper on the depth chart at inside linebacker this season. With De’Vondre Campbell and Quay Walker at the top, Krys Barnes drops down to third which makes Summers fourth at best.

Isaiah McDuffie is the guy to keep an eye on when it comes to competition with Summers. It’s unlikely the Packers keep five inside linebackers–if McDuffie outperforms Summers on special teams, the roster spot could be his. Ray Wilborn is a wildcard to watch.
