Packers Weakest Positions: Wide Receiver

This is, by far, the weakest position on the Packers’ roster. They traded Davante Adams and allowed Marquez Valdes-Scantling to walk in free agency, and are apparently taking a different approach to their roster-building this season.

It appears Green Bay will be relying upon Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur to carry the load with the receivers and make their jobs easier. That has to be the case with players such as Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb and Amari Rodgers at the top of their depth chart.

They did invest in some receivers through the draft–selecting Christian Watson, Samori Toure and Romeo Doubs. Watson and Doubs have the best chances to make an immediate impact and will be given every opportunity to earn their way onto the field right away. We’ll see how it shakes out, but this position has question marks everywhere.
