Packers’ strongest positions: Quarterback

Despite a more well-balanced roster this season, Green Bay’s top position group is still quarterback. That shouldn’t be surprising considering they have a back-to-back MVP and a former first-round pick at the position.

There’s no telling when Jordan Love will get to play in Green Bay or if he ever will. For the time being, he’s focused on his development and getting as many meaningful snaps as he can. Despite a rocky second year in 2021, he projects to be one of the better backup quarterbacks in the NFL this season.

The Packers hope they don’t see Love as extensively in meaningful action. Rodgers has been excellent over these past two seasons and is still the key to their Super Bowl hopes.
