Packers’ strongest positions: Inside linebacker

Only one year ago, the Packers had one of the weakest inside linebacker position groups in the entire NFL with Krys Barnes and Kamal Martin slated to be the top two players on the depth chart. Since then, they released Martin, signed De’Vondre Campbell who became an All-Pro in Green Bay last season and used their top draft pick on Quay Walker.

With Barnes going from first to third on the depth chart and Campbell and Walker holding the top two spots, Green Bay has a lot of potential and flexibility at this position. Campbell and Walker can share the field together when necessary and will give offenses fits. This group will be fun to watch–when’s the last time we could say that about the inside linebacker position in Green Bay?
