Way too early bold predictions for Packers: Lose in NFC Championship

The Packers have suffered heartbreak after heartbreak in recent seasons. They took a step back last year when their offense laid an egg and they fell to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round.

The good news is they’ll advance past that round this year, but the bad news is they won’t accomplish their ultimate goal. Rodgers was horrible in last year’s playoff game and it’s hard to imagine the defense playing any better–they didn’t give up a touchdown. Now the Packers are expecting Rodgers to do more with less. That’s not going to go well as he’ll do less with less. The Packers will have a great season, but will fall short of the Super Bowl.
