Way too early bold predictions for Packers: Packers have best passing defense

Finally, a positive prediction.

Green Bay has gone all-in on their secondary and are expecting big results from them this season. In a passing league, the Packers have one elite corner in Jaire Alexander and two very good ones in Eric Stokes and Rasul Douglas. Behind them, they have a very good safety in Adrian Amos and one with the potential to be great in Darnell Savage.

Depth will be a major issue for them, but as long as those five players stay healthy, the Packers’ passing defense will dominate. They’ll also be helped out by athletic linebackers in coverage and a pass rush that can disrupt the quarterback’s rhythm. It’s a good equation all around.
