Two great performances for the Milwaukee Bucks and one good one

The Milwaukee Bucks are playing without Khris Middleton because of a knee injury he sustained in the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs. Not only does Giannis have to step up his game to another level, but so does Holiday.

In Game 3, Holiday answered with 25 points. He had 11 points in the third quarter, which helped put the Bucks up by 13 heading into the closing quarter.

Holiday made a nice move on Jayson Tatum in the game’s closing seconds to put the Bucks up by three.

Holiday bounced back from a bad Game 2 where he scored just 19 points on 7-20 shooting.

The Bucks are going to need someone to knock down crunch time baskets with Middleton out. Holiday helped filled that void along with in Game 3, as he and Giannis combined for 67 points.

Wesley Matthews’ great defense slowed down Jayson Tatum.

The box score showed that Matthews had scored just three points and pulled down four rebounds in 32 minutes of action. So why does Matthews get a great rating? His defensive effort on Celtics star Jayson Tatum.

Tatum scored just ten points, was 4-19 from the field, and missed all six of his three-point attempts. Tatum scored 50 points combined in Games 1 and 2.

The veteran Matthews erased Tatum from the game with his defensive effort.

Brook Lopez had a good game after two bad games to start the series.

Lopez had scored a total of eight points in Games 1 and 2. He finished Game 3 with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Bucks are going to need Lopez to score in double-digits if they hope to wrap up the series in six games.

Lopez was more assertive in Game 3 after only attempting two shots in Game 2. He was 5-10 from the field. Lopez cleaned up the glass nicely to help the Milwaukee Bucks out-rebound the Celtics 53-47.
