Free agents to push Packers over the top following the Draft: Rob Gronkowski, Tight End

It’s unlikely Rob Gronkowski will ever leave Tom Brady’s side, but a man can dream, can’t he?

Gronkowski is still a free agent and is trying to determine if he’ll play again. It might take him some time to decide, but if he returns the Packers should try to convince him to play with a different Hall of Fame quarterback.

Gronkowski doesn’t exactly fit the bill as a run-blocker that the Packers want at the position, but he is a playmaker. He would be an excellent red zone threat for Aaron Rodgers and they need more weapons at every part of the field.
