3 Packers who lost the most from 2022 NFL Draft
Packers who lost the most from the 2022 NFL Draft: Dean Lowry
It’s clear the Packers haven’t been happy with their defensive line play for years now. Other than Kenny Clark, the rest of the position group has been a constant disappointment and Green Bay has been trying to upgrade it.
One year ago, the Packers drafted TJ Slaton and added Jack Heflin as an undrafted free agent. This year, they signed Jarran Reed as a free agent to replace Tyler Lancaster and used their 28th overall selection on Devonte Wyatt. They also added Jonathan Ford in the seventh round.
Lowry is a cut candidate if Green Bay wants to save money and spend it elsewhere on the roster. He played a lot better over the second half of 2021 which makes it more difficult to let him walk. However, Green Bay might be comfortable with Clark, Reed and Wyatt as the starters as Ford, Heflin and Slaton serve as the backups.
