With the addition of the Green Bay Packers‘ exciting class from the 2022 NFL Draft comes subdued roles from veterans who will see their playing time replaced by rookies. That’s the hard life in the NFL.

Green Bay is hoping for big things from this year’s rookie class to help the team get over the hump. That means they’ll be expecting less from guys who had bigger roles in the past. Let’s check out three players who have the most to lose based on who the Packers drafted this year.

These three members of the Green Bay Packers lost the most playing time following the conclusion of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Packers who lost the most from the 2022 NFL Draft: Amari Rodgers

Amari Rodgers already had a tough rookie campaign and he’ll have to fight, scrap, and claw for playing time in Year 2. After being drafted in the third round, Rodgers was handed punt and kick return duties to begin the year. Unfortunately, he couldn’t even hold that down for the entire season.

It wasn’t just special teams where Rodgers struggled as he only accrued eight targets and four receptions for 45 yards in his rookie campaign. When the Packers traded Davante Adams and let Marquez Valdes-Scantling walk in free agency, it appeared Rodgers might become a much more important part of the offense. He’ll still have his opportunities but after the free agents signing of Sammy Watkins and the drafting of Christian Watson (second round), Romeo Doubs (fourth round), and Samori Toure (seventh round) he could find himself at the bottom of the depth chart once again if he doesn’t show significant improvement.
