Round 2, 59th overall pick: Christian Watson, Wide Receiver, North Dakota State

FINALLY! Finally, the Packers select a wide receiver with their 59th overall pick and fourth selection in this draft. What took them so long?

Although we may never know the answer to that question, we are just happy they finally grabbed a receiver. Christian Watson is raw and will be frustrating at the beginning of his career. At 6-foot-4, he has elite speed (4.36-second 40-yard dash) that allows him to run past anyone and everyone and exploit defenses deep. That’s exactly the speed and playmaking Green Bay needs on this offense.

The only problem is his hands aren’t always reliable. He drops a lot of passes and needs to improve greatly in that category as his NFL career progresses. He has such a high ceiling if he develops properly that he could easily turn into a star.
