Will they grab an edge defender on Day 1 or 2?

The Packers need to add depth at a couple of key positions including on the edge. They currently have Preston Smith and Rashan Gary at the position, but no depth behind them. They could go the route they went with Gary–draft someone in the first round who will be emerging as a star in a couple of years when they’re ready to move on from Smith’s contract.

Outside of wide receiver, what is the Packers’ biggest position of need?

Wide receiver is the biggest sore thumb, but Green Bay has other clear positions of need they must address. Offensive tackle and tight end are two that stand out on the offensive side of the ball. On defense, however, there are a few more including safety, edge rushers and defensive line at the top. Depth at inside linebacker and cornerback are also needed.
