Bold prediction for Packers in NFL Draft: Trade away a first-round pick for established wide receiver

There are a number of big-time receivers who are reportedly available via a trade at the right price. And a number of guys who the Packers would love to add to their squad.

General manager Brian Gutekunst has been aggressive during his time leading the Pack and he’ll continue that trend this year with the Packers’ Super Bowl window hanging on by a thread. Deebo Samuel would be the preferred target for the Packers and they’ll have to pay at least a first-round pick to get him. That sounds fair enough to me.

Samuel has struggled with injuries throughout his career, but he’s coming off a massive season and his best football is still ahead of him. He’s dynamic and Matt LaFleur would love to scheme for him in this offense. Expect a splashy trade in one way, shape, of form from the green and gold.
