Dream scenario for Packers in 2022 NFL Draft: Draft George Karlafitis and Treylon Burks
If the Packers do end up keeping both of their first-round picks, I couldn’t imagine a much better scenario than drafting a stud edge rusher and a playmaking wide receiver.
George Karlafitis is someone who can spell Preston Smith and Rashan Gary when they need a break AND play alongside them by moving toward the inside. He’s a little on the short end for an edge rusher, but he’s built like a bowling ball and plays like one too.
Next. Packers' Big Board 2.0. dark
Treylon Burks would give Green Bay a versatile playmaker who can seamlessly fit into the Packers’ offense. He has a great size and speed combination and would help fill in some of the gaps they currently have. He’s not ready to be a true no. 1 receiver yet, but he’s better than anyone they currently have.
