Dream scenario for Packers in 2022 NFL Draft: Trade for Terry McLaurin

Brandin Cooks was a favorite trade target of mine before he signed a contract extension with the Houston Texans. Now, Green Bay must look elsewhere if they want to complete a deal.

There are a couple of potential targets in Seattle, but we turn our attention out East for this deal. Terry McLaurin is one of the most underrated receivers in the game and would instantly give the Packers a true No. 1 receiving threat. It’s the type of win-now move general manager Brian Gutekunst needs to pull off if he wants to give the Packers a legit receiving threat next year.

In order to make this move happen, Green Bay departs with their 22nd overall pick. A price they’re more than willing to pay to replace all the talent they lost this offseason.
