2022 NFL Draft prospects Packers could trade up for: Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State

Moving on to Olave’s collegiate teammate, Garrett Wilson is the top-ranked wide receiver on many boards.

Wilson can play in the slot or move to the outside–versatility that will be important considering the Packers don’t know what their long-term plans at wide receiver are. Despite standing just 6-feet tall, he has a large catch radius that can make up for any errant passes.

What head coach Matt LaFleur would like the most is Wilson’s ability to make plays with the rock in his hands. He’s a guy the Packers can throw wide receiver screens and other short passes to and watch him go to work. He knows how to make guys miss in the open field and is extremely shifty.
