2022 NFL Draft prospects Packers could trade up for: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

Chris Olave has become one of the preferred selections with the Packers’ 22nd overall pick. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely he’ll actually fall that far–he ranks 21st on PFF’s Big Board and 17th on The Athletic’s. If Green Bay wants one of the best route-runners in this class, they’ll likely have to move up a few spots to grab him.

Olave is a nuanced route-runner who pays extreme attention to detail. He can beat just about any corner with his excellent feel for a game–an aspect that Aaron Rodgers will certainly love. He also has good speed and great hands to boot. He shouldn’t be relied upon to be a team’s long-term number one option, but he’s a better receiver than anybody Green Bay has right now.
