The Green Bay Packers can try the New York Jets if the Giants say no deal.

The next team Gutekunst can call if the Giants were to say no deal is the other New York football team.

The Jets desperately want to acquire DK Metcalf from the Seattle Seahawks to solve their wide receiver issues. There are rumors the Seahawks have rebuffed New York already.

If they are unable to swing a trade with the Seahawks, the Jets could be tempted to trade their second first-round pick in hopes of getting more spins at some top-100 players. The Jets could use an impact receiver or lineman just like the Packers but this is a deep draft for wide receivers and linemen so trading down at 10 may make sense.

The Jets need to surround quarterback Zach Wilson with as much talent as possible, and more picks could solve that.

The Jets are already picking at number four so they are going to get an impact player. The Green Bay Packers could offer this trade package to move up to pick 10 in the first round.

This trade still allows the Green Bay Packers a shot at one of the elite receivers. The Packers could still get a good edge rusher. Cross and Neal should be off the board by then but Central Michigan’s Bernhard Raimann should be available. Although, Pro Football Focus is one of the few draft sites that are this high on Raimann.

If the Jets do not want to pay three first-round picks’ salaries, the Packers could offer this trade and it would be accepted according to the Pro Football Focus mock draft simulator.

This trade gives the New York Jets another top-75 pick along with still having another first-round pick. The Jets could use as many spins as possible in the top-75 to upgrade their roster.
