Green Bay Packers Trade with Philadelphia for pick 18

Packers receive: picks 18 and 166

Packers trade away: picks 22 and 92

Quick Thought: This is another scenario where the Saints pick after Philadelphia, and if the Packers feel that New Orleans is targeting a receiver — or another player Green Bay has interest in — which they very well could be, they could look to move ahead of them.

Trade with New Orleans for pick 19

Packers receive: pick 19

Packers trade away: picks 22, 140, and 171

Quick Thought: Again, not sure how likely it is that the Saints will be looking to move back, although, with a second first-round pick, it is more likely, but they may not be as willing to do so with a wide receiver-hungry Packers team. However, in this scenario, the Packers still have five picks in the top-100.

Trade with Pittsburgh for pick 20

Packers receive: pick 20

Packers trade away: picks 22 and 140

Quick Thought: With the Patriots acquiring DeVante Parker, they may instead go a different direction in Round 1, so the need for the Packers to jump ahead of them at pick 21 may not be as great as it was a week ago—although there are teams behind Green Bay at 22 that they could have to worry about.

Trade with New England for pick 21

Packers receive: pick 21

Packers trade away: pick 22 and 171

Quick Thought: The only time a trade like this would make sense is if the Packers believe that a team behind them is trying to jump Green Bay in order to select a player that they are also interested in. This scenario seems unlikely, given that they would only be moving up one spot, but if Gutekunst doesn’t want to risk losing out on a certain prospect, it’s still a move that could be made.
