Western Michigan wide receiver Skyy Moore is tackled by Michigan defensive back Brad Hawkins during the first half in Ann Arbor on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021.

Pick 22: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

Pick 28: Skyy Moore, WR, Western Michigan

Takeaway: I know everyone wants the Green Bay Packers to select a pair of receivers in Round 1, but I just can’t see it happening. On top of that, Green Bay doesn’t need another slot option in Moore with Randall Cobb and Amari Rodgers — who they just traded up for a year ago — already on the roster. His skill-set seems a bit redundant.

We know that the Packers need receivers, but in terms of specific needs that have to be filled, they need that go-to option, some more YAC — which Burks can provide — and a vertical threat.

Pick 22: Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State

Pick 28: Kenyon Green, IOL, Texas A&M

Takeaway: This one doesn’t feel like a Green Bay Packers draft either. I don’t think Dotson is an option — or at least not at this stage of the draft — and while Green is likely a Day 1 starter, I don’t see the Packers spending a first-round pick on an interior offensive lineman.

For one, that’s not a position they historically target in Round 1, and while you always improve the offensive line depth, they’ve spent six picks on the interior offensive line — yes, I know Newman and Van Lanen were OTs in college —  the last two drafts, including five on Day 3.
