1 draft pick to solve Packers’ wide receiver issue: Chris Olave, Ohio State

The final touch Green Bay must make to the position is to add a young, cheaper, ascending talent who can make an immediate impact. Look no further than Ohio State’s Chris Olave.

With the 22nd pick in the draft, Green Bay could grab a wide receiver who would add even more explosiveness to their offense. Olave is a smooth route runner and someone who can fly past cornerbacks to make them pay at any level of the field. He has both a high upside and the ability to make an immediate impact.

With those three additions, the Packers’ wide receiver position quickly becomes one of strength. Although they don’t have a superstar like Adams, they have three very good newcomers in Cooks, Fuller and Olave to go along with solid role players like Lazard and Cobb. Suddenly, everyone is feeling much better.
