Bargain free agents Packers should target: Chris Harris Jr., CB

The Packers have a great trio of cornerbacks in Jaire Alexander, Eric Stokes and Rasul Douglas so this may seem like a questionable move. However, none of those three have experience playing inside in the slot. Alexander may be the best option, but it’s risky to upset your best cornerback by moving him out of a position he’s excelled in.

Chris Harris Jr’s best days are behind him, but he’s still a serviceable slot corner and would be an upgrade from Chandon Sullivan in years past. His name will generate a little bit more money, but Green Bay could have him for around $5 million next season. His addition would give Green Bay one of the best secondaries in the entire NFL.
