Under the radar first-round prospects for Packers: Jermaine Johnson II, ED, Florida State

The Packers have two studs in Rashan Gary and Preston Smith on the edge and then basically nothing else. They desperately need to add an NFL-caliber edge player to their roster and could replicate the path they paved to create the beast that is Gary.

Jermaine Johnson II could be a target for the Packers with either of their first-round selections. He’s disciplined in the run game–something Gary and Smith could learn from–and knows how to set the edge. He can also get after the quarterback with a bevy of pass-rushing moves.

Johnson would give Green Bay a great rotation of edge rusher and ensure they have good pass rushers on the field at all times.
