Cincinnati Bearcats wide receiver Alec Pierce (12) stretches to pull down a touchdown reception over Indiana Hoosiers defensive back Tiawan Mullen (3) in the fourth quarter of the NCAA football game between the Indiana Hoosiers and the Cincinnati Bearcats at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind., on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021. Green Bay Packers 92nd Overall Pick

Alec Pierce, WR, Cincinnati

I know it is very un-Packer-like to draft two receivers in the first 3 rounds, but Alec Pierce may just be too good of a value to pass on. He is a big and physical receiver who knows how to get open. Pierce was a matchup nightmare while at Cinncinati, and while NFL corners are no doubt better, his frame and style of play will pose some problems for secondaries.

I may be optimistic, but I believe Pierce is the steal of the draft. He has all the physical tools needed to be a stud receiver in the NFL.

Similar to many of the other guys drafted on Day 2, Pierce has the potential to be a playmaker in the league. He will need some time to develop and can be a special teams weapon during that time.

Who is a prospect you are hoping the Packers choose during the draft? Let me know in the comments below.
