Under the radar free agents Packers should target: Arden Key ED

The Packers have an upcoming star in Rashan Gary who should be ready to shoulder an even bigger load next season. Gary showed he could handle a full load when Za’Darius Smith missed the entire 2021 campaign with a back injury and will team up with Preston Smith again to form a dangerous duo on the edge.

Unfortunately, Green Bay doesn’t have any depth behind them and needs to add at least one more proven player. Arden Key had a nice season in San Francisco last year and could be looking for a bigger opportunity than the one Green Bay presents. However, he’d be a great third edge player who would be one injury away from becoming a full-time starter. He’s a cheap option for the Packers and better than anyone they currently have.
