The Green Bay Packers made a couple of free agent moves last week with the signings of defensive lineman Jarran Reed and special teamer Keisean Nixon. And they still have some money to spend in free agency if they so desire.

The Packers have slowly been checking off needs on their teams with the free agent signings and re-signings they’ve made this offseason. That’s narrowed their scope for the draft if the right player becomes available.

However, the Packers still have work to do on their roster before they’re anywhere near ready to begin fielding a Super Bowl-caliber team in 2022. Let’s take a look at five under-the-radar free agents who are still available.

Under the radar free agents Packers should target: Jason Peters, T

The Packers released Billy Turner earlier in the offseason and could use a stopgap at the position to get them by for a year or two. Jason Peters is old as dirt and isn’t as good as he once was, but he’d give Green Bay a solid option on the outside. It would be a bit of a transition to move from left tackle to right, but Peters could give the Packers a solid option at right tackle for 2022.
