Packers 3-round 2022 NFL Mock Draft: Green Bay reloads offense
Packers Mock Draft, Round 1, Pick 28: Zion Johnson, G, Boston College
With their final pick in the first round, the Packers grab a starting guard in Zion Johnson. Although Royce Newman started and played fairly well for a rookie a year ago, there is still a lot of room for an upgrade like Johnson. He looks like an NFL starting guard already and will be ready to step into the starting lineup from Day 1.
Packers Mock Draft, Round 1, Pick 22: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
Chris Olave is the true prize of this three-round mock draft and joins Tolbert (technically, Tolbert joined Olave since we are working the reveal of this mock backward) as two fast receivers the Packers added in this draft. It’s questionable whether he will be there when the Packers are on the clock at pick no. 22, but he just happened to be in this edition. That’s a huge get for a Green Bay offense that desperately needs to add weapons before next season.
Overall, I was able to add two wide receivers, a starting offensive guard, a versatile guard-tackle and a pass-rushing specialist from the edge. That’s not the worst way this draft could go for the Packers who need offensive weapons and to reload along their offensive line.
