Wide receivers Packers need to target in first round of 2022 NFL Draft: Chris Olave

It’s safe to say most fans would be happy if Green Bay is able to nab Chris Olave out of Ohio State with a first-round selection. Olave may be the most NFL-ready contributor of these receivers and could have a huge impact on Green Bay’s offense from Day 1.

Olave doesn’t have elite speed, but he’s fast enough to get the job done. He’s a polished route-runner who can create separation with his attention to detail on routes and above-average athleticism. He’s wise beyond his years at reading defenses which should make it easy for him and Aaron Rodgers to quickly develop chemistry. He’s probably better as a long-term no. 2 receiver, but the Packers need any pass-catchers at this point.
