Free agent options for Green Bay Packers at WR

Jarvis Landry

Jarvis Landry can provide the Packers with that high volume target that they need, recording at least 100 targets in seven of his eight NFL seasons–the one year he didn’t was in 2021 when he had 87 targets. It’s worth noting that over half of Landry’s targets in 2021 came within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage, and he would bring some needed YAC ability to the receiver position.

Landry can line up out wide, although a majority of his snaps have come in the slot, according to PFF ($$), which is where Cobb and Rodgers will primarily line up.

Will Fuller

With Marquez Valdes-Scantling now in Kansas City, as already mentioned, the Green Bay Packers must find that vertical threat for this offense. In addition to that big-play ability, having that element on the field creates better spacing and opens up the passing game for others.

The 2020 season was Fuller’s most productive, totaling 879 yards in only 11 games at 16.6 yards per catch. However, staying on the field has been an issue. He would appear in only two games with Miami in 2021, and since 2017, Fuller hasn’t appeared in more than 11 games in a single season.

Emmanuel Sanders

The Green Bay Packers have had reported interest in Emmanuel Sanders in the past. He can line up both on the boundary and in the slot, can win in all three parts of the field, and brings needed big-play ability as well. Last season in Buffalo, Sanders would catch 45 passes on 72 targets at 15.1 yards per catch with five touchdowns, and he would be someone that Rodgers could lean on right away.
