Best remaining free agents Packers should sign: Tyrann Mathieu

Yes, the Packers have Darnell Savage and Adrian Amos returning at the safety position and just re-signed Rasul Douglas to join Eric Stokes and Jaire Alexander at cornerback. However, Tyrann Mathieu would push Alexander for the most talented player in that secondary.

Mathieu can literally line up all over the field and give Green Bay an elite option in the slot–something they currently don’t have. The Packers run five defensive backs most of the time which would allow for Mathieu to share the field with any number of his secondary mates depending on the matchup and game plan. It would cost a pretty penny, but it would all be worth it.
