Explosive wide receiver for Packers to target in draft: Alec Pierce, Cincinnati

Now we’re talking. Alec Pierce is an elite vertical threat that would immediately boost the Packers’ deep threat game. He can run past the secondary with his very good speed and then has the size (6-foot-3) to make them pay on the deep balls. That led to him hauling in a whopping 13 deep targets from a year ago.

He’ll most likely be available at the end of the second round if the Packers want to use one of their two picks there to grab him. He isn’t the most agile athlete in the world, but he’ll have to rely on his speed and jumping ability to make an early impact.
