Wide receivers Packers could sign in free agency: Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Re-signing Marquez Valdes-Scantling could have the biggest upside of any guy still left on the free agent market.

MVS has a solid rapport with Rodgers and has been in Matt LaFleur’s system for three years now. That gives him a huge advantage over any newcomer coming in from the outside.

He also has his best playing days ahead of him. At 27-years-old, he’s just scratching the surface and could have a breakout season any time now. He’s also got elite speed that forces defenses to respect him and greatly improved his hands in 2021. If he can continue that momentum, it may be worth it for him to take a one-year prove-it deal with the Packers.
